Admissions Policy

This school admits students of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to the students at this school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, and national or ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, athletics, and other school administered programs.

There is however, limited spacing each academic year, therefore, we first open office space to all Christian Life World members and then to members of other churches.

NOTE: If in the best interest of the parents and/or the child we feel our school cannot meet the needs, the admission request will be declined in writing to the parents. Also, every student admitted into CLA is on a 6 weeks probationary period in which if the parents and/or the staff feel CLA cannot meet the students' needs enrollment will be terminated. The final decision regarding any student's admissions is to be at the discretion of the Pastor.

Admission Procedural Guidelines

Students are accepted at Christian Life Academy on the basis of an interview with each family and the administration. All prospective students must be present during the interview.

·         Parents and student must read this handbook thoroughly.

·         Parents and students are required to sign a statement of cooperation expressing their support of the school's program. A student who does not cooperate or agree with the purpose and program of the school will not be admitted or allowed to remain in school.

·         Parents must submit an application accompanied by registration fee, previous report card, birth certificate, and social security card.

·         At least one parent must attend the Parent Orientation.

·         All students upon entering the Kindergarten and 7th grade must have the following immunizations:

Diphtheria, Polio, Measles, Rubella, or a signed “Request for Exemption from Immunization” form.

Students entering/attending Kindergarten will be required to have completed 2doses  of the Varicella, [chickenpox] vaccine.

This would also include any child who is retained in Kindergarten.

Students are accepted on a 60-day probation period.

It is not the policy of Christian Life Academy to accept students who have been dismissed from another school. Final acceptance is based on the interview, testing results, and response from the Administrative Staff.
